The studio
Two dentists, three rooms, one way of working.
We opened Harbourview to do fewer things carefully: restore teeth that have been through a lot, and improve smiles without overdoing it.
The dentists.
Dr. Claire Boudreau
General dentist · restorative care
Claire plans most of our crown, bridge and full-mouth work. She likes a slow first visit and a fast, well-prepared treatment day, and she will show you every photo she takes.
Outside the studio she sails out of the Armdale basin most summer evenings.
Dr. Samir Haddad
General dentist · cosmetic care
Samir looks after veneers, whitening and clear aligners. His habit is the mock-up: you see and feel a new shape in your own mouth before he changes anything.
He speaks English, French and Arabic.
The space.
Daylight from the harbour side, a separate room for consultations so plans are never discussed in the chair, and treatment rooms with ceiling screens for the photos.
Sterilisation
Clean, in plain words.
You are welcome to see our sterilisation room. This is what happens between every patient.
- Single-use where possibleNeedles, suction tips, bibs, cups and gloves are new for each person and thrown away after.
- Washed and baggedMetal instruments are cleaned in an ultrasonic washer, inspected and sealed in dated pouches.
- Steam sterilisedEach pouch goes through a steam steriliser that is tested every day, with a record kept for every cycle.
- Opened in front of youYour instruments come out of their sealed pouch at the chair, and every surface you touch is wiped down before you sit.
When we refer you elsewhere.
We do not place implants or do gum surgery ourselves. For those, we refer you to an oral surgeon or periodontist we know well, send them your records, and carry on with the rest of your plan here.
