The consultation
One unhurried hour, then time to think.
The consultation is where your plan is made. It costs $175, takes about an hour, and nothing is done to your teeth beyond looking, photographing and, if needed, X-rays.
What happens in the room.
You talk, we listen
What bothers you, what you would like to change, and anything you are worried about. Bring old X-rays or notes if you have them.
An exam
Teeth, gums, bite and jaw joints, checked by one of the dentists. X-rays only if recent ones are not available.
Photos and a scan
Clinical photographs and, where useful, a 3D scan of your teeth instead of messy impressions.
Options, side by side
We go through the photos with you on a screen and explain two or three ways forward, including doing nothing for now.
What you take home
Sent to you within three working days.
Your written plan
Recommended treatment, alternatives, and what each involves, in language you can share with family.
Photos of your teeth
The full set from the visit, so you can see the starting point and compare later.
A fee estimate per stage
Line by line with the fee codes, ready for a pre-treatment estimate from your insurer.
No deadline
Take as long as you need. If you go ahead, the consultation fee comes off your first stage.
The fee, and what it covers.
The exam, photographs, a scan if useful, your written plan and the fee estimate. X-rays, if we need new ones, are billed separately at the fee guide rate and are often covered by insurance.
If you go ahead with treatment within six months, the $175 is credited to your first stage.
