Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use this website and reach us.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the standard behind Canada's accessibility laws.
What we have done on this website
- A "Skip to content" link at the top of every page.
- Everything works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline.
- Text and buttons meet AA colour contrast.
- Buttons, links and the day picker are at least 44 pixels tall, so they are easy to tap.
- Every meaningful image has a text description; decorative shapes are hidden from screen readers.
- A clear heading structure and page landmarks on every page.
- The weekly schedule's day picker is a set of standard radio buttons, so it works with arrow keys and screen readers, and each day has its own heading.
- The class pack prices are a real table with row and column headers.
- Every form field has a visible label, required fields say so in words, and the result of sending the form is announced.
- The one entrance movement and the smooth scrolling stop when your device asks for reduced motion.
Reaching us without the form
You never have to use the online form. Call or text (555) 555-0146, or email hello@tidepoolstudio.example, and we will take your request with you.
The studio itself
For step-free access, the washroom and getting onto a reformer, see accessibility of the space on our studio page.
