A massage in your own living room

Maren brings everything for a 60 or 90 minute session to houses, condos and apartments across Edmonton, St. Albert and Sherwood Park. You clear a patch of floor; she does the rest.

What comes through your door

  1. The folding tablePadded, 185 by 71 cm, with a face cradle. About 13 kg, so stairs and elevators are no trouble.
  2. LinensA fresh fitted sheet, top sheet and face cradle cover for every client, plus a wool blanket in the colder months.
  3. A table warmerA thin heated pad under the sheet, on low from October to April, or off if you would rather.
  4. Oil and lotionUnscented by default. A lightly scented oil is in the box if you ask for it.
  5. Bolsters and pillowsFor under your knees or ankles, and a long pillow for lying on your side.
  6. A small speakerQuiet instrumental music at low volume, or nothing at all.

The oil travels in a closed box with the linens, the same kit at every stop.

The space the table needs

The floor space the table needs A clear area about 2.5 metres long and 2 metres wide, with the 185 by 71 centimetre table in the middle and room to walk all the way round it. Table 185 × 71 cm about 2.5 m (8 ft) about 2 m (6.5 ft) walking room on every side walking room on every side
Floor space
About 2.5 by 2 metres, so there is room to walk all the way round the table. A living room with the coffee table pushed aside is usually enough.
Floor surface
Any floor works. On a thick rug the table sits a little lower, which is fine.
A warm room
The table warmer helps, but in winter please turn the heat up a degree or two.
Getting in
Stairs and elevators are fine. Have the buzzer code and unit number ready for the ten-minute text.

Sessions and prices

Two kinds of session, two lengths

Relaxation

Long, flowing strokes at an easy, even pressure across the back, shoulders, arms and legs. The usual choice for a quiet hour at home.

60 minutes
$135
90 minutes
$190

Deep tissue

Slower, firmer pressure worked into the areas you choose, often the back, neck, shoulders and legs. You set how firm, and you can change it at any time.

60 minutes
$145
90 minutes
$205

Prices in Canadian dollars, travel inside Edmonton included. St. Albert and Sherwood Park add $25 per visit. Two people in one home can book back to back.

Pets and parking

Pets

Friendly pets are welcome to say hello at the door. For the session itself, please settle them in another room with the door closed: paws under the table make for a tricky hour, and fur on the sheets travels to the next home.

Parking

The van needs one spot within a short walk: a driveway, a visitor stall or free street parking. If the only option is paid parking, the meter cost goes on your receipt at cost. Underground parkades work if the clearance is over 2.1 m.

Pick a length and the days that suit.

Maren replies with a time that fits her route.
