What we do, and what we ask you for.

Checking ID is not us doubting you. It is the reason a stranger cannot call us to open your door.

Home

Front doors, back doors, deadbolts, sliding patio doors, condo suites.

What happens

We pick the lock or open the latch with an under-door tool.
If a high-security deadbolt will not pick, we stop and quote drilling and a new cylinder. You decide.
We test the lock with you before we leave.

What we ask for

Photo ID with the address, or ID plus a bill or lease once inside.
For a rental: the landlord or building manager on the phone if your ID shows another address.

Car

Keys locked inside, a dead fob, a trunk that will not open.

What happens

We use a long-reach tool and an air wedge. No slim jim, no scratched paint.
Most cars are open in 5 to 15 minutes.

What we ask for

Photo ID that matches the registration or insurance papers in the glovebox.
Your plate number and make on the phone, so we bring the right tools.

Business

Shops, offices, warehouses, storage rooms, gates.

What happens

We open commercial locks, mortise locks and lever handles without damage where we can.
Master-keyed systems: we open and leave the system as it is.
We can rekey the same night if keys walked out with an employee.

What we ask for

ID, plus proof you can authorise entry: a business card, a lease, or the owner on the phone.

Lockout prices

Day and night, posted.

These include the call-out and the opening. Day is 8 am to 6 pm, Monday to Saturday. Night is 6 pm to 8 am, plus Sundays and statutory holidays.

The quote you hear on the phone is the one we hold to unless the lock turns out to be different from what was described. If it is, we tell you before starting.
