Hardscape design-build · Kelowna, BC
Stone work, drawn to scale before we dig.
Patios, retaining walls, steps and outdoor kitchens for Okanagan yards. You see a scaled plan and three priced material options first, then the same crew builds it from excavation to the final sweep.
What we build
Five things, all of them heavy.
We stick to hardscape: the parts of a yard that are dug, compacted and laid. Each one is built on a base made for Okanagan frost and clay.
Patios
Interlocking pavers, large slabs or natural flagstone, on a compacted base sized for your soil.
Patio materials and prices 02 / WallsRetaining walls
Block or stone walls that turn a sloped lot into level, usable ground, with drainage behind every one.
How we build wallsSteps and paths
Stone treads and paver walks with an easy rise, so the yard joins up.
Steps and paths 04 / Fire + kitchensFire-pit areas and outdoor kitchens
Gas fire tables, seat walls and built-in grill counters, with the gas and power roughed in by licensed trades.

Walk it with us. The site visit is free and you leave with a list of options, not a sales pitch.

A plan and three options before a shovel goes in.
Most hardscape disputes come from a sketch on a napkin. We measure the yard, draw it to scale with every level and step marked, and price the same layout in three materials. You choose with the drawing in front of you.

Featured project
A round terrace cut into an Upper Mission slope
The back of this lot fell away a full metre. We cut a level circle into the hill, held it with upright granite blocks that double as seating, and laid small cobble pavers in rings to the centre.

Where we work
Both sides of the bridge, up to Lake Country.
We keep jobs within about 40 minutes of the yard, so the crew spends its day building instead of driving.

What we pass on
Pools, irrigation design and tree removal. We work alongside the people who do those well and will give you their names.
Spring build slots fill over the winter.
Plans drawn between November and March get the first dig dates in April. Tell us about the yard and we will set up a visit.
