Service area

Close enough to come back for the touch-up.

We keep our area tight on purpose. Short drives mean we're on time, we can pop back when paint needs a second coat, and you aren't paying for an hour on the highway.

How we plan the week

We group jobs by area, so the crew drives less.

The houses we know

From stone cottages to last year's subdivision.

Guelph and the villages around it have a bit of everything: limestone houses from the 1800s with plaster walls and nothing quite square, post-war bungalows, and newer builds where the drywall is thin and the trim is MDF. Each needs a different anchor, a different patch and a different kind of patience.

We work on all of them. On older homes we take extra care with original trim and plaster, and if something is better repaired than replaced, we'll say so.

  • Plaster and lath patching that matches the old wall
  • Original doors re-hung rather than swapped out
  • Condo work booked around your building's rules and elevator times

Questions

About where we go.

I'm just outside the dotted line. Will you still come?

Often, yes, for a bigger job or when we're already nearby. Send the request with your town and we'll tell you honestly whether we can be there on time.

Do you work in Kitchener, Waterloo or Milton?

Not regularly. Those cities have plenty of good handyman companies, and we'd rather be dependable here than stretched thin there. We're happy to suggest someone.

Do you work for landlords and property managers?

Yes, within the same area. We can meet tenants, work from a lockbox and send photos of the finished job with the invoice.

In our area?

Let's get your list on the calendar.

Include your town in the request, and we'll offer you the day we're already close by.
