Website accessibility

Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to use this website and reach us about their home.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. It is the standard behind Ontario's AODA requirements and Canada's accessibility laws.

What we've done on this website

  • A "Skip to content" link at the top of every page.
  • Everything works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline.
  • Text and buttons meet AA colour contrast, and buttons and links are large enough to tap.
  • Every meaningful image has a text description; decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
  • The service-area map has a text description, and every town on it is also listed in words.
  • A clear heading structure and page landmarks.
  • Every form field has a visible label, and the form's result is announced.
  • Animation stops when your device asks for reduced motion.
  • The site is available in ten languages, including Hebrew and Arabic laid out right to left.

When we visit your home

  • Tell us when you book if you'd like us to call rather than text, or text rather than call.
  • We can send the quote and invoice in large print or as plain text.
  • If you'd like someone with you at the estimate, we'll book a time that suits them too.

Known limitations

The photographs are illustrative, and their descriptions are brief rather than detailed. If you find anything on this website that's hard to use, please tell us.
