Travel notes
How we plan the day around the harbour
- Time windows are two hours. We text about 30 minutes before we arrive, so you aren't waiting at the window all morning.
- Bridges and rush hour. We group jobs by side of the harbour to keep crossings down, which is why we may offer Halifax customers a morning slot and Dartmouth an afternoon one.
- Backups jump the queue. Water coming into a basement goes first. A slow bathroom sink may wait a day.
- Winter. On storm days we keep a van free for frozen pipes and sump pump failures. Please clear a path to the door and to the cleanout if it's outside.
- Parking. Downtown and on the peninsula, a driveway or a spot within a few doors helps. Paid parking isn't added to your bill.
