Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the standard behind Canada’s accessibility laws.

What we have done on this website

• A “Skip to content” link at the top of every page.
• Everything works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline.
• Text and buttons meet AA colour contrast.
• Buttons and links are at least 44 pixels tall, so they are easy to tap.
• Every meaningful image has a text description; decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
• A clear heading structure and page landmarks on every page.
• Price and comparison tables use proper row and column headers, and scroll sideways inside their own box on small screens, with keyboard access.
• Each colour swatch is labelled with its name and a short description in words, so nobody has to judge colour by sight alone.
• Every form field has a visible label, required fields say so in words, and the result of sending the form is announced.
• The site has no moving parts or animation.

Known limitations

The photographs are illustrative, and their descriptions are brief rather than detailed. Colours of the swatches on screen are approximate. If you find anything on this website that is hard to use, please tell us.
