Bathrooms

Bathrooms built dry, from the membrane out.

Most bathroom failures start behind the tile. We waterproof every wet wall and floor, flood-test the shower before tiling, and only then make it look good.

A main bathroom in five weeks

Shower glass is made to measure after the tile is finished and takes about ten working days. That is why weeks four and five overlap a little.

What moves the price

Where a bathroom budget goes

Keeps it lower

  • Toilet and drains stay where they are
  • A standard tub instead of a fully tiled shower
  • Porcelain tile in common sizes
  • A stock vanity with a quartz top

Pushes it higher

  • A curbless shower, which means lowering the subfloor
  • Heated floors and a second circuit to run them
  • Large-format or natural stone tile
  • Frameless glass, niches and a built-in bench
  • Moving a toilet across the floor joists
