Drawn, priced and built by one team.
Stonebridge renovates kitchens, bathrooms and basements in Waterloo, Kitchener and Cambridge. Our designer draws it, the same office prices it, and one of our two site crews builds it on a schedule you sign before anything comes down.
Four kinds of work, done properly.
We keep the list short on purpose. Every project is drawn in our office and built by our own crews, with the same electrician, plumber and tiler on every job.
You see every wall before we touch one.
Before we quote, our designer measures the room and draws it: plan, elevations, and the details that usually get decided on site in a rush. You mark it up, we revise it, and the price is built from the final drawing, line by line.
That is how we can hold a price. Most of the questions have been answered on paper.
- Sink centred on the existing window, so the outside wall stays untouched.
- A three-drawer stack beside the sink, shallow top drawer for cutlery.
- Panel-ready dishwasher next to the sink, where the plates come off.
- Uppers run to the ceiling with a small filler. No dust shelf.
A schedule you can plan your life around.
Dates before demolition
Cabinets, tile, fixtures and glass are ordered and checked into our shop before demo day. The clock on site starts when the parts are here.
An update every Friday
Your lead carpenter sends photos, what got done, what's next and any decision we need from you. Short and plain.
One contract, one number
Design, trades, permits and cleanup sit under one written contract. If something is wrong, you call one person.
Taking out the wall between the kitchen and everything else.
Plenty of older homes in the region have a wall exactly where you want the island. Removing a load-bearing wall is ordinary work when it is done in the right order: a structural engineer sizes the beam, we pull the building permit, temporary walls carry the floor above while the old wall comes out, and the beam is in and inspected before anything is closed up.
$12,000 to $30,000
Most openings land in this range, including engineering, beam and posts, permit, drywall and patching the floor. A flush beam hidden in the ceiling, ductwork in the wall or a steel beam push it toward the top.
Ask about an openingWhat we send elsewhere
We don't build new custom homes and we don't do roofing. Both are different businesses with different crews, and we would rather say so now than learn it on your job. If you need either, ask, and we'll pass along the names of firms we know.
Tell us about the room. We'll come and measure it.
The first site visit is free, with no obligation. Send the short estimate form and we'll call you within two working days, or just call us.
