Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to use this website and reach us.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the standard behind Canada’s accessibility laws.

What we have done on this website

  • A “Skip to content” link at the top of every page.
  • Everything works with a keyboard alone, with a two-colour focus ring that shows on both dark and light backgrounds.
  • Text and buttons meet AA colour contrast. Yellow is only used behind dark text or as a line, never as small text on a light background.
  • Buttons and links are at least 44 pixels tall, so they are easy to tap.
  • Prices are real text, not pictures, so screen readers and translation tools can read them.
  • The lesson comparison table has row and column headers, and scrolls inside its own box on small screens instead of widening the page.
  • The questions page uses standard expandable sections that work with a keyboard and screen readers.
  • Every meaningful image has a text description; decorative road signs and lane lines are hidden from screen readers.
  • A clear heading structure and page landmarks on every page.
  • Every form field has a visible label, required fields say so in words, and the result of sending the form is announced.
  • Animation stops when your device asks for reduced motion.

Reaching us without the form

You never have to use the online form. Call or text (555) 555-0133, or email hello@signalway.example, and we will take your request with you.
