Frames from small makers, fitted to your face.
Ottoline is a small eyewear shop with two opticians and an exam room. We carry acetate and titanium frames from independent workshops, post every lens price where you can read it, and adjust each pair by hand before it goes home with you.

The makers
Five small workshops, and no big logos on the temples.
We buy from people who cut and finish their own frames, a few dozen of each model at a time. When a model sells out, it's often gone for good, so the wall changes through the year.

The exam room
An optometrist in the back room, three days a week.
Anika, our optometrist, sees patients 12 and older on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. An adult eye exam is $140 and usually takes about 40 minutes.
Already have a prescription from another clinic? Bring it in. We make lenses from any recent prescription, wherever it was written.
We don't fit contact lenses or examine children under 12. For those, we'll point you to a family eye clinic nearby.
One-on-one styling
Forty-five minutes, one optician and the whole wall.
Tell us how you wear your glasses and what bothered you about the last pair. We bring frames to you, narrow it down to three, and go through lens prices before anything is ordered. Free with a frame purchase, $40 otherwise.
