Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use this website and reach us.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the standard behind Canada’s accessibility laws.
What we have done on this website
- A “Skip to content” link at the top of every page.
- Everything works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline.
- Text and buttons meet AA colour contrast. The bright teal, pink and yellow shapes are decoration and never carry text that you need.
- Buttons and links are at least 44 pixels tall, so they are easy to tap.
- Every meaningful image has a text description; decorative shapes are hidden from screen readers.
- Vegan and vegetarian marks and salsa heat levels are written out in words, not shown by colour or dots alone.
- The weekly schedule is a real table with row and column headings, and it scrolls sideways inside its own box on a small screen instead of shrinking.
- The FAQ uses standard expandable sections that work with a keyboard and screen readers.
- A clear heading structure and page landmarks on every page.
- Every form field has a visible label, required fields say so in words, and the result of sending the form is announced.
- The one small animation, the hero shapes settling into place, does not run when your device asks for reduced motion.
Reaching us without the form
You never have to use the online form. Call or text (555) 555-0197, or email hello@masaverde.example, and we will take your request with you. At the truck, we're happy to read the menu out loud or write your order down.
Known limitations
The photographs are illustrative, and their descriptions are brief rather than detailed. If you find anything on this website that is hard to use, please tell us.
