Milestone birthdays
A 50th in a community hall, a 90th at the golf club, an 18th in the backyard. Family-style platters suit a room full of relatives who haven't sat together in years.
Private parties
The same kitchen and crew as our weddings, for gatherings of 20 guests and up. You pick the room and pour your own wine; we cook, serve and do the dishes.
A 50th in a community hall, a 90th at the golf club, an 18th in the backyard. Family-style platters suit a room full of relatives who haven't sat together in years.
A plated dinner with the menu from the original wedding, recreated as near as we can, or a long table of canapés and a toast.
We cater the late lunch for socials on its own: rye, cold cuts, kielbasa, pickles and cheese, set out and kept full while the hall committee runs the bar and the door.
We cook in our kitchen, finish in yours and serve at your own table. Your guests stay in the living room; the clatter stays with us.
Parties of 20 to 39 guests
Smaller parties choose one of these three menus. A shorter list means a small crew can cook every dish properly in a home kitchen or a hall. The minimum food order is $1,200 before staff and fees.
$54 per guest
Bread board and pickles, beet and apple slaw, roast chicken or sirloin, perogies with fried onions, roasted roots, matrimonial squares.
$62 per guest
Roasted squash soup, then braised short rib or mushroom and barley risotto, then Saskatoon berry tart with vanilla cream.
$40 per guest
Eight canapés per guest from four kinds, passed over two hours, and a grazing board of cheeses, cured meats and pickles.
Dinner at home
A dinner at home takes a crew of three or four: a cook, a captain who also pours, and one or two servers. We need surprisingly little from you.
We bring plates, cutlery, glassware, cloths and napkins, wash everything at our kitchen, and leave yours as we found it.
Send us the occasion, a rough guest count and the date. Small parties often fit on Fridays and Sundays even in a busy month.
