Sectors

Each building has its own rules.

A dental clinic, a clothing shop and a condo lobby need different things at different hours. This is how we set each one up.

A large open-plan office with exposed ducts and rows of desks

Typical visits 3 to 5 nights a week

SEC 01 Sector

Offices

What it needs

  • Kitchens and washrooms ready before the first person arrives
  • Desks, screens and paperwork left exactly where they were
  • Quiet work around people who stay late

How we handle it

  • We wipe cleared desks only and never move papers
  • The crew starts in common areas and leaves occupied rooms for last
  • The same crew most nights, so they learn your floor
A bright dental treatment room with an orange chair and white cabinets

Typical visits 5 to 6 nights a week

SEC 02 Sector

Medical and dental clinics

What it needs

  • Touch points and washrooms disinfected every visit
  • No cross-over between washrooms, treatment rooms and waiting areas
  • Reception and waiting room tidy for the first patient

How we handle it

  • Colour-coded microfibre and mops for each zone
  • Health Canada registered disinfectants, left on for the full contact time
  • Treatment-room floors and counters only: staff handle clinical equipment, sharps and medical waste
A small clothing shop with folded stock on tables and jackets on rails

Typical visits 3 to 6 nights a week

SEC 03 Sector

Retail shops

What it needs

  • Entry glass and floors that take a beating, worst in winter
  • Fitting rooms, counters and display glass clean for opening
  • A crew that follows your alarm and lock-up routine to the letter

How we handle it

  • We arrive after close and finish before opening
  • Salt film lifted from tile and mats with a neutral cleaner, November to April
  • Shelving and fixtures dusted weekly, stock never moved
A mid-rise condo building with balconies under a clear sky

Typical visits 2 to 5 visits a week

SEC 04 Sector

Condo common areas

What it needs

  • Lobby, elevators, halls, stairwells and amenity rooms kept up
  • Garbage and recycling rooms that do not smell
  • A record the property manager can show the board

How we handle it

  • Evening or daytime visits, planned around residents
  • Elevator steel and lobby glass every visit, stairwells weekly
  • A signed log in the management office after every visit
