Strength classes

Every class is coached, capped at eight people per coach, and built around one big lift. You'll squat, deadlift, press and carry every week, at a weight that's right for you today.

How a class runs

Sixty minutes, four parts.

Same shape every time, so you can stop wondering what's next and think about the lift.

  1. 0:00 · 10 minWarm-upJoints first, then the day's lift with an empty bar.
  2. 0:10 · 25 minMain liftSquat, deadlift, bench or press. You work up to your sets and the coach checks each one.
  3. 0:35 · 15 minAccessoriesRows, lunges, chin-up work. The things that keep backs and shoulders happy.
  4. 0:50 · 10 minCarryFarmer's walks, sandbags or the sled. Then everything goes back where it lives.

Class levels

Three steps up.

Nobody skips Basics because they look strong. Coaches move you up when your lifts are ready, not on a date.

  1. Level 1 · Start here

    Barbell Basics

The four-week course for people who have never lifted, or haven't in years. Empty bar first.

  2. Level 2 · All levels

    Strength

The main class and most of the schedule. One session for everyone, with weights set for each person.

  3. Level 3 · Experienced

    Strength 2

Heavier and more technical, run off percentages of your best lifts. For people with three months of classes behind them.
