Galas, milestone parties and weddings

Big nights where the host gets to be a guest.

Fundraising galas, milestone birthdays, anniversaries and a few weddings each year. We take on the seating plan, the supplier calls and the timing, and we stay until every guest has a ride home.

01Three kinds of nights

Priced up front, run on the night.

Fees are for planning and coordination, in Canadian dollars before GST. Suppliers bill you directly at their own prices.

01 · Galas and fundraisers

Fundraising galas

Ticketed dinners and award nights for charities, foundations and associations. Your committee keeps the guest list and the cause; we keep the night on track.

  • A planning timeline with ticket, sponsor and program deadlines
  • A seating plan built from your guest list, with table cards
  • Silent and live auction logistics: bid sheets or the platform you choose, runners, a payment table
  • Volunteer roles and a briefing an hour before doors
  • A program timed to the minute, with someone at the side of the stage

Planning from

$6,500

Up to 300 guests, two coordinators on the night. Larger galas quoted after a call.

02 · Milestone parties

Birthdays, anniversaries, retirements

A 40th in a rented hall, a 50th at a ranch outside Cochrane, a retirement dinner for the person who's been there longest. You pick the feeling; we do the phoning.

  • A venue, or a home or backyard setup with a tent and rentals
  • Caterer and bar service booked, with the event licence where alcohol is served
  • Music: we brief the DJ or band and hand over your playlist
  • Transport and hotel rooms for family coming from out of town
  • One coordinator on the night, start to finish

Planning from

$2,900

30 to 150 guests, one coordinator on the night.

03 · Weddings

A few weddings a year

Mostly couples who want things run tightly, often in the mountains, often with guests flying in. We're planners rather than stylists: we book the florist and the décor rentals, then make sure they arrive on time.

  • A timeline built backwards from the ceremony time
  • Supplier confirmations two weeks and two days out
  • Guest shuttles between hotels, ceremony and reception
  • A rehearsal run-through the day before
  • A coordinator from setup to the last shuttle

Full planning from

$7,800

From the first venue visit to the last shuttle.

Last eight weeks only

$2,600

You've planned it; we take over the details and run the day.

03Questions from hosts

The things people ask us first.

Do you do décor and flowers?

We book florists, décor rentals and lighting companies and manage them on the day. We don't design or make the arrangements ourselves.

Can you work with suppliers we've already booked?

Yes. Send us the contracts and we'll add them to the run of show and the budget sheet. We'll flag anything that looks risky, like a missing load-in time.

How far ahead should we call?

For a gala, six to nine months. For a wedding, nine to fourteen months, especially for summer in the mountains. For a birthday or anniversary, six weeks can be enough.

Do you only work in Calgary and the Rockies?

Mostly. We'll travel elsewhere in Alberta, and travel and nights away are billed at cost.

What if it rains on the patio?

Every outdoor moment in our run of show has a weather call time and an indoor plan agreed in advance, with the indoor space held until that call.

Next step

Tell us whose night it is.

A date, a rough guest count and the kind of evening you want. We'll come back within one working day.
