Colour help
Choose colours in your own light.
A paint chip under store lights tells you very little. A big sample on your own wall, at the time of day you use the room, tells you nearly everything.
How the consult works
Before
Send us a few photos of the rooms and anything that stays: floors, counters, a sofa, a favourite rug. We bring samples that suit them.
At your home
About 90 minutes. We put up large painted boards, move them between walls and windows, and narrow it down with you.
After
You get a written list: each room, the colour, the sheen and the brand code, ready for us or anyone else to paint.
The fee, and how it comes off
A colour consult is a flat $95. If you book us to paint within three months, the full $95 comes off your job. If you'd rather paint it yourself, the list is yours to keep.

Questions people ask
Do I have to hire you to paint afterwards?
No. The consult stands on its own. The $95 credit only applies if you do.
Which paint brands do you use?
The major brands sold at London paint stores. If you have a favourite, we match your colours to it.
Can you help with the outside of the house?
Yes. Exterior consults happen outdoors in daylight, with samples held against the brick, roof and stone.
Can you do the whole house in one visit?
Usually, for up to about eight rooms. Bigger homes sometimes need a second, shorter visit, which we don't charge for.
