Every fee, on one page.
Flat fees for routine work, hourly rates for everything else, and a written quote before we start either way.
All amounts in Canadian dollars, before GST (5%) and Manitoba RST (7%), which apply to legal fees. Prices current for October 2026.
Hourly rates, for work without a flat fee
Billed in six-minute steps. We send an estimate first and tell you before it is going to be exceeded, not after.
Flat fees

“From” means the price for the usual case; we tell you up front if yours costs more and why. Details of what each fee includes are on the practice pages.

How billing works here.
Passed on at cost
Government fees, searches, title insurance and couriers. We don’t add a margin, and each one is listed on your statement.
Only for hourly work
For hourly matters we may ask for a deposit into our trust account. It stays your money until we send an invoice against it.
At the end, mostly
Flat-fee work is paid when it is done, or from the proceeds on a real estate closing. E-transfer, cheque or debit in the office.
