How we work
The fee is in writing before the work starts.
Most small-business and family matters are predictable. We price them that way, and say early if yours is not.
A short call to understand it
Twenty minutes, no charge. We check for conflicts, ask what you need, and tell you whether it fits a flat fee.
A one-page engagement letter
What we will do, what we will not, the fee, the likely disbursements and who is on your file. You sign before we start.
One lawyer owns the file
A named lawyer and a clerk handle it from start to finish. You get their direct line and a plain-English summary when it is done.
What we don’t do
We don’t take on lawsuits, criminal matters or family law (separation, divorce, custody). If you need one of those, we will give you the names of Winnipeg firms that do this work every day.
