Garden design & planting
A plan you can hold, then a garden you can walk through
Perennial borders, front gardens and back gardens, drawn to scale by hand after a walk around your yard, then planted by our own crew.
What a planting plan includes
Everything a crew, or you, needs on planting day
- A scale drawingBeds, paths and existing trees measured on site and drawn at 1:50.
- A plant list by season of bloomEvery plant, its quantity and pot size, sorted by when it flowers.
- Sun and soil notesWhich corners bake, which stay wet, and what the clay needs before planting.
- A first-year care sheetHow much to water while roots settle, and what to leave standing over winter.

Planting is priced from your plan
Once the plan is drawn, we count it: plants, soil and compost, edging, mulch and crew days. You get one written price for the install before any work is booked, and it only changes if you change the plan.
Prefer to plant it yourself? The plan is yours either way, and we're happy to talk you through it.

What we hand to other trades
We don't build patios or retaining walls, take down or prune large trees, or install irrigation systems. If your plan needs any of that, we'll mark it on the drawing and pass you to Calgary trades we've worked beside, so the planting and the hard work fit together.
Start with a walk around the yard
Ninety minutes, a notebook and a lot of questions about where the snow sits. You'll leave with ideas even if you never book the plan.
