Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the standard behind Canada’s accessibility laws.

What we have done on this website

• A “Skip to content” link at the top of every page.
• Everything works with a keyboard alone, with a visible lime and navy focus outline.
• Text and buttons meet AA colour contrast on both the light and the dark sections.
• Buttons and links are at least 44 pixels tall, so they are easy to tap.
• Every meaningful image has a text description; decorative shapes, like the striped band at the top of the home page, are hidden from screen readers.
• A clear heading structure and page landmarks on every page.
• Prices are in tables with a caption and a labelled row for each price, so screen readers read each price with its name.
• The coloured bar showing the parts of a session is decorative; the same information is written out in a list right below it.
• The FAQ uses standard expandable sections that open with Enter or Space and announce whether they are open.
• Every form field has a visible label, required fields say so in words, and the result of sending the form is announced.
• The single moving element, the striped band on the home page sliding in once, stops when your device asks for reduced motion.
