Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use this website and reach us.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the standard behind Canada’s accessibility laws.
What we have done on this website
- A “Skip to content” link at the top of the page.
- Everything works with a keyboard alone, with a thick, visible focus outline.
- Text and buttons meet AA colour contrast, including the white text on the rust call button and the gold text on charcoal.
- Buttons and links are at least 44 pixels tall, so they are easy to tap.
- The photographs have text descriptions; decorative drawings, such as the hill lines and the calendar page holes, are hidden from screen readers.
- A clear heading structure and page landmarks. The “days left” calendar pages are a real numbered list, so a screen reader reads them in order.
- The questions and answers use the browser’s own open and close controls, which work with a keyboard and a screen reader.
- Every form field has a visible label, the choices are grouped under a question, required fields say so in words, and the result of sending the form is announced.
- Smooth scrolling and the small entrance motion stop when your device asks for reduced motion.
Reaching us without the form
You never have to use the online form. Call (555) 555-0114 or email hello@ponderhill.example, and we will take your request with you.
Known limitations
The photographs are illustrative, and their descriptions are brief rather than detailed. If you find anything on this website that is hard to use, please tell us.
