Styling appointment

One optician, about 45 minutes, and frames brought to you.

A styling session is unhurried time at the frame wall with Marisol or Theo. It's free when you buy a frame, $40 if you don't, and nothing has to be decided that day.

How a session goes

Forty-five minutes, roughly like this.

  1. 0–10 min

    Talk

How you wear glasses, what you liked and didn't about past pairs, colours you always reach for.

  2. 10–30 min

    Try on

We measure your face, then bring frames to you: usually twelve to fifteen, including a few you wouldn't have picked.

  3. 30–40 min

    Narrow to three

Side by side in the mirror and in photos on your phone.

  4. 40–45

    Lenses

Options and posted prices for each frame.

Worth bringing

Your current glasses, a recent prescription if you have one, and photos of any frames you've liked on other people. We hold your final three for a week if you want to think it over.

Request a time

Tell us when suits you.

This form saves your request for us. Marisol or Theo will call or email to offer a time, and nothing is booked until we've confirmed it with you.

General information only, not medical advice. Contacting us does not create a patient relationship. For sudden vision changes or an eye injury, go to the nearest emergency department.
