Colours and sheens

Pick a colour you can live with for ten years.

Any colour can be matched. These are the ten our customers choose most, with honest notes on how each one behaves in a working kitchen.

  • Chalk WhiteBright without turning blue. The white we spray most.
  • Warm LinenA soft cream that sits well beside oak floors.
  • Greige StoneHides everyday marks and suits most counters.
  • Sage LeafA quiet green that loves white tile.
  • Clay RoseEarthy pink for bathrooms and coffee bars.
  • Mustard SeedA warm accent for an island or a pantry.
  • Fir GreenDeep forest green, made for brass hardware.
  • Harbour NavyThe classic island colour, calm and dark.
  • Charcoal SlateDark without the drama of black. Forgiving.
  • Ink BlackBold and sharp. Choose satin, not matte.

Screens shift colour. We always bring painted sample boards to the colour visit, so you see the real thing in your own light.

Three sheens.

Sheen changes how a colour reads and how easily the doors wipe clean. Most kitchens look best in satin.

How to choose.

Start with what stays

Your counter, floor and backsplash aren't changing. Hold the sample boards against them, not against a white wall.

Look at night too

Warm bulbs push greys toward beige and greens toward brown. Leave the boards up for a full day and evening.

Two-tone is easy

A darker island or lowers with lighter uppers costs a flat $250 extra, and makes a small kitchen feel bigger.

Want the sample boards?

We bring up to four painted boards to your colour visit, free, and leave them with you for a few days.
