Accessibility statement

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the standard behind Canada’s accessibility laws.

What we have done on this website

• A “Skip to content” link at the top of every page.
• Everything works with a keyboard alone, with a visible blue focus outline.
• Text and buttons meet AA colour contrast. Colour is never the only way information is shown: the highlighted den on the floor plan is also labelled in words.
• Buttons and links are at least 44 pixels tall, so they are easy to tap.
• The sample floor plan has a written description for screen readers.
• Fee and cost tables have proper row and column headers. On a phone they become labelled lists you can read top to bottom.
• Long guides have an “On this page” list that jumps to each section.
• Every meaningful image has a text description; decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
• A clear heading structure and page landmarks on every page.
• Every form field has a visible label, required fields say so in words, and the result of sending the form is announced.
• Animation stops when your device asks for reduced motion.

Known limitations

The photographs are illustrative, and their descriptions are brief rather than detailed. The building profiles and floor plan are samples. If you find anything on this website that is hard to use, please tell us.
