Sessions and prices

Four sessions, each with a fixed fee that covers the shoot and a set number of edited digital photos. Prices are in Canadian dollars, plus GST.

Family

Session fee$395

For the people you live with, and anyone else you want in the frame. We mix a few tidy group photos with a lot of walking, tickling and piggybacks, because that is where the good ones come from.

Larger families of seven to twelve are $495. Outdoor sessions are set for the softest light of the day, so the time moves with the season.

Newborn

Session fee$495

Best between five and fourteen days old, when babies are sleepy and curl up easily. We go at your baby's pace, with breaks to feed and settle, and a parent is always within arm's reach.

Book while you are pregnant and we pencil in your due date, then confirm the day once baby arrives. Read our newborn safety notes.

Kids and milestones

Session fee$295

Sitting up, walking, losing the first tooth, turning one, or simply being four. Short sessions that end before anyone gets bored, with as many breaks as it takes.

First birthday cake smash: add $95 and we bring the cake (plain or allergy-friendly), the backdrop and a quick bath-time clean-up at the end.

Headshots

Session fee$150

For LinkedIn, a new job, your own business or a speaker bio. Weekday evenings so you can come straight from work. We coach you through it, so you never have to know what to do with your hands.

Good to know

How do I pay?

Nothing is paid online. Once your date is set we send an invoice, and the session fee is due on the day by card or e-transfer. Prints are paid for when you order them.

What if it rains, or someone is sick?

We move outdoor sessions to the next good day or into the studio, your choice. Sick kids happen: tell us the morning of and we will find another date at no charge.

Where in the river valley?

We have a few favourite spots within ten minutes of the studio, with level paths and somewhere to park. We will suggest one that suits the season and your crew.

When do we get our photos?

Two weeks for family, kids and headshots, three weeks for newborns. Headshot clients see their picks before leaving the studio.
