Accessibility statement

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the standard behind Canada’s accessibility laws.

What we have done on this website

• A “Skip to content” link at the top of every page.
• Everything works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline.
• Text and buttons meet AA colour contrast against their backgrounds, including text sitting on the pastel shapes behind headings.
• Buttons and links are at least 44 pixels tall, so they are easy to tap.
• Every photograph has a short text description; the decorative shapes and logo next to the business name are hidden from screen readers.
• Prices are given in real tables with headings, and session details as labelled lists, so screen readers read them in order.
• The gallery is made of ordinary images in reading order: no slideshows, nothing moves on its own and nothing is hidden behind a click.
• A clear heading structure and page landmarks on every page.
• Every form field has a visible label, required fields say so in words, and the result of sending the form is announced.
• The small entrance movement on some sections stops when your device asks for reduced motion.

Visiting the studio

The back door off the lane is step-free, with parking right beside it. The studio is on one level. Tell us about any access needs when you book and we will plan around them.

Known limitations

The photographs are illustrative, and their descriptions are brief rather than detailed. If you find anything on this website that is hard to use, please tell us.
