Aftercare
Making it last
Most gel that lifts early and most lashes that fall out fast come down to the first day and a few daily habits. Here they are.
Gel and structured gel
- Wear gloves for dishes and cleaningHot water and cleaning sprays are what lift gel at the edges.
- Nails are jewels, not toolsNo peeling labels, scraping stickers or opening cans with them.
- Cuticle oil once a dayIt keeps the skin around the gel soft, so the edges don't catch.
- Don't peel it offPeeling gel takes layers of your own nail with it. Book a removal instead.
- File, don't clipIf a corner snags, smooth it with a soft file rather than cutting it.
- Chip in the first week?Call us within seven days and we will fix that nail free.
Lash extension care
Extensions shed along with your natural lashes, a few a day. Good care keeps the rest on until your fill.
Do
- Brush them each morning with a clean spoolie.
- Wash them every other day with a water-based lash cleanser, then pat dry.
- Dry them on the cool setting of a hair dryer, held well away.
- Sleep on your back or side if you can.
Avoid
- Oil-based makeup removers, eye creams or serums on the lash line.
- Mascara on extensions, and lash curlers.
- Rubbing your eyes or pulling at a loose lash.
- Picking them off. Book a removal for $25 instead.
