Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use this website and reach us.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the standard behind Canada’s accessibility laws.
What we have done on this website
- A “Skip to content” link at the top of every page.
- Everything works with a keyboard alone, with a visible yellow focus outline.
- Text and buttons meet AA colour contrast against the dark background and the yellow bands.
- Buttons and links are at least 44 pixels tall, so they are easy to tap.
- Every meaningful image has a text description; decorative ones, like the tape-measure dividers, are hidden from screen readers.
- A clear heading structure and page landmarks on every page.
- Price and comparison tables have row and column headers, and wide tables scroll inside their own box on small screens.
- The month timeline and the step lists are ordered lists, so screen readers announce each step in order.
- Every form field has a visible label, required fields say so in words, and the result of sending the form is announced.
- Hover effects stop when your device asks for reduced motion.
