Accessibility statement

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the standard behind Canada’s accessibility laws.

What we have done on this website

• A “Skip to content” link at the top of every page.
• Everything works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline.
• Text and buttons meet AA colour contrast.
• Buttons and links are at least 44 pixels tall, so they are easy to tap.
• Every meaningful image has a text description; decorative ones, like the thin curved line down each page, are hidden from screen readers.
• A clear heading structure and page landmarks on every page.
• Fees and weekly hours are set out as real tables with headings.
• Pages reflow on narrow phone screens without sideways scrolling.
• Every form field has a visible label, required fields say so in words, and the result of sending the form is announced.
• The one small animation, on the home page headline, stops when your device asks for reduced motion.

Our building

• A gently sloped ramp with a handrail to the side door.
• Both treatment rooms, the waiting room and a washroom with grab bars on the ground floor.
• Treatment tables that lower to chair height, and a wide parking spot beside the ramp.

If you need anything else, such as a longer visit or someone to come in with you, just tell us when you book.

Known limitations

Some image descriptions are brief rather than detailed. If you find anything on this website that is hard to use, please tell us.
