Couples and families: each personal return is priced on its own, and prepared together with the others in the household.
Questions about fees
Why do the fees say “from”?
The posted fee is for a tidy file of that kind. A company with several bank accounts, a vehicle and books that need catching up takes longer than one with a single account and up-to-date bookkeeping. After the first call we quote in writing, and that quote is what you pay unless the work changes and you agree to a new one.
Is the first conversation charged?
No. The 20-minute consultation, by phone or at the office, is free. It's for working out what you need and whether we're the right firm for it.
Can one person really do my company and my own return?
Yes, that's how our files are set up. Colette or Arjun keeps both, with Wren handling papers and dates, so you aren't explaining the same dividend twice.
My books are more than a year behind. Can you still help?
Usually, yes. We start with a clean-up estimate in hours, catch the books up, then prepare the returns that are late. Tell us on the first call how far back it goes.
How do I get my documents to you?
In person at the office, or through the secure upload link we send once you've signed the engagement letter. Please don't put documents, SINs or account numbers in this website's form; it's only for setting up the first call.
Do you do audits, US returns or estates?
No. Audits, review engagements, compiled statements for lenders, US and cross-border returns, and estate and trust returns go to other firms. We'll give you names.
Is HST included?
No. HST is added to every fee on this page.
