Your company's year-end and your own tax return, kept by the same person.

A three-person firm for incorporated small businesses, sole proprietors and the people who own them. We close the year, file the T2 and the HST, run payroll, and prepare the owner's personal return with the company's numbers already open on the desk.

A quiet, bright office: a long white desk by floor-to-ceiling windows, a laptop on it and a tall plant beside it.

What we look after

Most clients have two files with us: the company's and their own. Whoever closes your company's year also prepares your personal return, so the salary or dividends you took, the shareholder loan and the truck bought through the business are read the same way in both.

The year at a glance

Every client gets these dates in a calendar we send each January, with their own company's dates added in.

  1. JanEarlyYour key-dates calendar goes out
  2. FebLast dayT4 and T5 slips and summaries filed
  3. Mar15First personal instalment

Corporate dates follow your own year-end: any balance is due two or three months after it, the T2 six months after. A deadline that lands on a weekend or holiday moves to the next business day.

Getting started

No forms full of numbers up front. A conversation first, then a written quote, then one person who keeps your file for as long as you're with us.

  1. This week

    A first call

Send the short form or phone us. We set up a 20-minute consultation by phone or at the office, at no charge, to hear what you need and what's been done so far.

  2. Before any work

    A written quote

If it's work we do, you get an engagement letter with the fee and a list of what to bring. Nothing starts until you've signed it. If it isn't, we tell you who to ask instead.

  3. Every January

    One person, all year

The same person keeps your company's file and your own. Each January your calendar of dates arrives, with a reminder a few weeks before each one.
