Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use this website and reach us.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the standard behind Canada’s accessibility laws.
What we have done on this website
- A “Skip to content” link at the top of every page.
- Everything works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline on light and dark colour bands alike.
- Text, buttons and price tags meet AA colour contrast. The big headlines are set in dark ink on the terracotta bands and in light type on the olive and plum ones.
- Buttons and links are at least 44 pixels tall, so they are easy to tap.
- Prices are plain text, never only an image or a colour, and each price tag is read out with its item.
- The “What’s on a board” photo has handwritten labels with arrows. The same labels are repeated as a plain list that screen readers read and that shows on small screens.
- The questions in the FAQ open and close with a keyboard and are announced by screen readers.
- Every meaningful image has a text description; decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
- A clear heading structure and page landmarks on every page, and the delivery fees sit in a real table with row headings.
- Every form field has a visible label, required fields say so in words, and the result of sending the form is announced.
- Nothing on the page moves on its own, and the few small transitions stop when your device asks for reduced motion.
