Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use this website and reach us.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the standard behind Canada's accessibility laws.
What we have done on this website
- A "Skip to content" link at the top of every page.
- Everything works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline.
- Light text on a dark background throughout, with text and buttons meeting AA colour contrast.
- Buttons and links are at least 44 pixels tall, so they are easy to tap.
- Every meaningful image has a text description; decorative ones, like the plotted curve and the equation fragments between sections, are hidden from screen readers.
- The school-year timeline on the exam prep page is a plain list read in month order, and every marker has a written label, so nothing depends on colour or shape alone.
- The whiteboard picture on the How it works page has a written caption describing it.
- Price and time zone tables have proper row and column headers.
- A clear heading structure and page landmarks on every page.
- Every form field has a visible label, required fields say so in words, and the result of sending the form is announced.
- Pages fit a narrow phone screen without sideways scrolling.
- The curve animation on the home page doesn't run when your device asks for reduced motion.
Reaching us without the form
You never have to use the online form. Call or text (555) 555-0128, or email hello@vectorline.example, and we will take your request with you.
Known limitations
Session recordings are not captioned. If a student is Deaf or hard of hearing, tell us before the first session and the tutor will type explanations on the whiteboard as they go. If you find anything on this website that is hard to use, please tell us.
