Tillie's Corner Café
Tea, toast and the best seat on the hill.
Breakfast all day, a pot of soup on the go from eleven, sandwiches on bread we bake ourselves, and a cake under glass on the counter. Tillie runs the kitchen; her son runs the teapots and the till.

Plain food, done properly
Breakfast runs from open to close. Lunch starts at eleven. Bread, biscuits, cakes and squares are all made here, most of them before the door opens.

Come up the hill
Eight tables and a window bench
Larkin Hill is steep. Park at the top and walk down; the walk back up is what the cake is for. We don't take table bookings, so come in, and if we're full, the kettle won't be long.

- One step at the door. Ring the bell and we'll put the ramp out.
