Saskatoon · one electrician · one van

Small electrical jobs, done the same week.

I'm Mateo Ruiz. I take the jobs bigger shops push to next month: the breaker that keeps tripping, the dead outlet, the fan you bought in July. A flat call-out, a clear price per job, and you know the total before I pick up a tool.

Jobs I do, and what they cost

Every visit starts with the $95 call-out: the drive, and the first 30 minutes of finding the problem. Then the job is a flat price from this list. If what I find is different from what you described, I tell you the new price and you decide before I start.

Is it an emergency?

Most electrical problems can wait two days. A few can't. If there is smoke or fire, leave and call 911 first.

Turn off the main breaker and call me now if you:

  • smell burning or hot plastic near an outlet, switch or the panel
  • see brown or black scorch marks on a cover plate
  • hear buzzing or crackling from the panel
  • feel an outlet or switch plate that is warm to the touch
  • have water near the panel or an outlet (stay out of the water)

If you can't reach the main safely, don't try. Leave the room and call.

It can wait for a booked slot if:

  • one outlet or a run of outlets went dead and nothing smells
  • a breaker tripped once and has stayed on since
  • a single light flickers
  • a fan wobbles or hums
  • a smoke alarm chirps (that's usually the battery or its age)

How a visit works

  1. 01

    You send the job

The form below, a call or a text. A photo of your panel with the door open saves us both time.

  2. 02

    I call you back

The same working day. You get the price from the list and a time slot, usually within the week.

  3. 03

I find it, then we agree

The call-out covers the first 30 minutes. If the job is bigger than it looked, you hear the price before I start.

  4. 04

    Done and tidied

Covers back on, dust swept, a written receipt. If the job needed a permit, I book the inspection.
