A church by the river in Winnipeg

Pull up a chair. There's room for you.

New here?

The first visit is the hardest one. We'll make it easy.

Walking into a new church can feel like walking into someone else's family dinner. Here is what you can count on.

  • Someone will meet you at the doorTell us you're coming and a person from the welcome team will look out for you, show you around and sit with you if you like.
  • Nobody will single you outNo standing up, no name tags, no being asked to say anything. Sit, listen, leave when you want.
  • You'll be out by about 11:15Then stay for a second coffee, or head home. Either is fine.

Every Tuesday

Supper's on. Everyone eats.

Every Tuesday we set up long tables in the hall and cook for whoever walks in: neighbours, students, families, people living rough, folks from the church. It's free and there's no catch, no sermon and no form to fill in.

About forty volunteers take turns cooking, serving and washing up. If you'd like to help, there's a spot for you too.

  • 5:30 to 7:00 pm
  • Free, no sign-up
  • Vegetarian option every week
About the supper

Coming this Sunday? Let us know.

Tell us which Sunday and who's coming. Someone from the welcome team will reply during the week and meet you at the front door, so you don't walk in alone.
