Accessibility statement

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the standard behind Canada’s accessibility laws.

What we have done on this website

• A “Skip to content” link at the top of every page.
• Everything works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline.
• Text and buttons meet AA colour contrast.
• Buttons and links are at least 44 pixels tall, so they are easy to tap.
• Every meaningful image has a text description; decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
• A clear heading structure and page landmarks on every page.
• Price lists are real tables with a caption and column headers, so screen readers read each price with its service.
• In the example inspection report, urgency is written out in words (“Fix now”, “Can wait”, “Watch it”), never shown by colour alone.
• The warranty gauge graphic has a text alternative, and the same terms are written next to it.
• Every form field has a visible label, required fields say so in words, and the result of sending the form is announced.
• The one entrance animation on the home page stops when your device asks for reduced motion.

Known limitations

The photographs are illustrative, and their descriptions are brief rather than detailed. The seasonal calendar on the tires page is visual only; the same dates are written out below it. If you find anything on this website that is hard to use, please tell us.
