Packed by people who pack every day.
Our packers work for $65 an hour each, usually the day before the move. Or buy the boxes and do it yourself: every supply has a posted price.
Packing time by room
For two packers in a typical Edmonton home. Supplies are added at the prices below, only for what we use.
Kitchen
3 to 5 hoursThe slowest room in any home. Every glass and plate wrapped, heavy items in small boxes.
Living room
1 to 2 hoursBooks, shelves, lamps, art and the TV, which goes in its own carton.
Each bedroom
1 to 2 hoursClosets into wardrobe boxes on hangers, drawers emptied into labelled boxes.
Bathroom
Under 1 hourTowels, linens and the cabinet. Open bottles get sealed or set aside.
Home office
1 to 2 hoursFiles boxed in order, cables bagged with the device they belong to.

Boxes and supplies
Pick up from our yard, or we bring them a week before your move for free with any booked move. Unused, unmarked boxes can come back for a refund.

What we will not pack
Some things are safer with you, and some are not allowed on a moving truck at all.
Valuables and papers
Jewellery, cash, passports, deeds and hard drives. Keep these in your own car.
Medication
Pack a bag with a few days of what you need, plus chargers and keys.
Anything that burns or leaks
Propane, gasoline, paint, aerosols, solvents and pool chemicals.
Open food and fridge items
Sealed dry goods are fine. Perishables are not.
Firearms and ammunition
These travel with their owner, under the rules that apply to them.
Plants and pets
They need air and a steady temperature, which a truck cannot promise.
