Website accessibility
Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use this website and reach the atelier.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. It is the standard behind Canada's accessibility laws and Israeli Standard IS 5568.
What we've done on this website
- A "Skip to content" link at the top of every page.
- Everything works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline.
- Text and buttons meet AA colour contrast.
- Every meaningful image has a text description; decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
- A clear heading structure and page landmarks.
- Every form field has a visible label, and errors are announced.
- Animation stops when your device asks for reduced motion.
- The site is available in ten languages, including Hebrew and Arabic laid out right to left.
- An accessibility menu (the button on the side of every page) lets you enlarge text, raise contrast, switch to grayscale, highlight links, use a readable font, add text spacing, stop animations, enlarge the cursor and highlight focus. Your choices are remembered on this device only.
At our atelier
Visits to 9 Silversmith Lane are by appointment, so tell us what you need when you get in touch and we'll arrange it.
Known limitations
The photographs of jewellery and the workshop are illustrative, and their descriptions are brief rather than detailed. If you find anything on this website that's hard to use, please tell us.
