Victoria electricians

Light the rooms you are renovating, before a wire is pulled.

We plan the lighting and do the electrical for kitchens, bathrooms and whole-home renovations across Victoria, with extra care for the city's older houses.

Three kinds of work, one careful crew

We are a small Victoria firm. The person who walks your house at dusk is on the job when the fixtures go up.

Lighting design

Layered light for kitchens and living rooms: ceiling, task, under-cabinet and accent, every circuit on the right dimmer.

Renovation electrical

Kitchens, bathrooms and whole floors. We work to your contractor's schedule and handle the permit and inspection.

Heritage rewiring

Knob-and-tube out, safe circuits in, with as little damage to old plaster and trim as the house allows.

How we start

The walk-through happens at dusk

Daylight hides every lighting problem. So we come as the sun goes down, when you can see where the dark corners and the glare really are.

  1. We walk the rooms with you

About an hour. We look at how you use each room after dark, where you read, chop, and wind down.

  2. We test the existing light

Switch by switch. We note glare, shadows on the counter, and fixtures that fight each other.

  3. A drawn lighting plan

Fixture positions, switching, dimmers and circuits on one sheet, with a fixed-price quote for the electrical.

  4. Then the wiring

We pull the permit where the job needs one, do the work, and book the inspection before the walls close.

One ceiling fixture became three layers: recessed lights on their own dimmer, LED strips under every upper cabinet, and a warm wash along the island.
