The shop

Why European cars, and only those.

European cars reward a shop that knows them. Each maker has its own software, its own special tools, its own way of doing a simple job like resetting a service light. Dealers have all of that but charge for it. General garages often have little of it.

We sit in between. We bought the diagnostic software, the timing tools and the coding equipment for the makes we service, and we turned away everything else. That focus is what lets us quote accurately and fix things the first time.

The name comes from the small falcon you see hovering over the fields by the Fraser: precise, patient and not very big. It felt right.

How we work

Four habits.

None of this is complicated. It is just what we would want from a shop looking after our own cars.

  • Quote first, always

You get a written price before we start. If we find something else, we call with photos and wait for your answer.

  • Two parts prices

OEM and OE-equivalent on every line, with the same 24-month / 40,000 km warranty on either.

  • Old parts on request

Ask and we keep the parts we removed, bagged and labelled, so you can see why they came off.

  • A logbook, not a receipt

Every visit ends with a PDF of what we did, what we measured and what is due next.

What we send elsewhere

Some jobs belong in another shop.

We would rather point you to a specialist than do a job halfway. For these we refer you to independent shops we have worked with for years.

  • Body work and paint
  • Windscreens and glass
  • Performance tuning and engine remaps
  • Tire storage
