Cats-only clinic · Charlottetown, PE

A vet visit made for cats

One veterinarian, one technician and a waiting room with no dogs in it. Exams happen on a towel, at your cat’s pace, and top-opening carriers are welcome.

Why cats only

A calm visit is the whole idea

  • No dogs, ever. The waiting room is quiet, and nobody’s barking at your carrier.
  • Exams on a towel. We go at the cat’s pace and stop when a cat needs a minute.
  • Top-opening carriers welcome.Often we can examine a cat without lifting them out at all.
  • Spaced appointments.Booked so cats are not stacking up in the room.

What we do not do: we have no surgery suite and do not clean teeth on site. Those are referred to a partner clinic, and we say so before you book.

Services

What we look after

Wellness exams and vaccines

A head-to-tail check on a towel, with core vaccines given when they are due.

Kitten visits

First exams and vaccine schedules, plus a talk about litter, food and play in your home.

Senior cat check-ups

Longer, slower visits for older cats, with blood work when it makes sense.

Blood work

We collect the sample here and send it to an outside lab. We phone you when the results are in.

Nail trims

A short visit on its own, or add one to an exam.

Surgery and dental cleanings

Not offered here. We refer you to Bayside Veterinary Surgery and share the notes you need. We also do not see dogs.

Carrier tips

Getting a cat into the carrier

Most of the stress happens before the car. A few habits help, and none of them take long.

Leave it out

Keep the carrier in a living area for a week or two, door off, with a blanket inside, so it is just furniture.

Go in from the top

With a top-opening carrier, lower your cat in rather than pushing them through the front.

Shut the door first

Pick a small room, close the door, and calmly set up there. No chasing round the house.

Cover and carry level

A light towel over the top and a steady grip keep things dim and still on the way here.
