Exterior painting · May to October
Siding, trim, decks and fences.
Outside, paint fails at the edges first: around windows, at the bottom of siding, on the top rail of a fence. So that's where our prep goes, before a single coat.
What we paint outside
Trim
Fascia, soffits, window frames and doors, caulked first so water can't get behind the paint.
Decks
Washed, sanded where the grain has lifted, then stained or painted. Railings and stairs included.
Fences
Both sides where we can reach them, with your neighbour's okay. Loose boards noted on the quote.
Our outdoor season
Exterior paint needs dry wood and nights above about 10 °C to cure, so outside work runs May to October. Interiors keep going all winter.

Book early. Summer weeks fill by spring. A visit in March or April gets you a spot in the first months.
Rain days. If rain is forecast, we move your day and tell you the evening before. Nothing goes on wet siding.

Prep, two coats and paint included, before HST. Height, condition and how much scraping the wood needs move the number, so the written quote comes after a visit.

We work on houses up to two and a half storeys from ladders and planks. No commercial buildings or high-rise work.
