Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the standard behind Canada’s accessibility laws.

What we have done on this website

• A “Skip to content” link at the top of every page.
• Everything works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline.
• Text and buttons meet AA colour contrast.
• Buttons, links and form choices are at least 44 pixels tall, so they are easy to tap.
• The price list is a plain list: each job, its details and its price are read out together, in order.
• The “When suits you?” choices are grouped radio buttons with a spoken group label.
• The page stays usable when text is enlarged to 200% and on a phone 390 pixels wide, with no sideways scrolling.
• Every meaningful image has a text description; decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
• A clear heading structure and page landmarks on every page.
• Every form field has a visible label, required fields say so in words, and the result of sending the form is announced.
• The only motion is a short slide-in of sections and a small button lift; both stop when your device asks for reduced motion.
