A kitchen with near-black cabinets, slim metal pulls and a mosaic tile backsplash

Cabinet painting · Burlington, ON

A new kitchen, without the new kitchen.

Your doors and drawer fronts go to our spray shop. Your boxes get painted where they stand. About a week later the kitchen looks new, and you cooked in it most evenings.

Near-black slab cabinets, satin finish, slim pulls.

We paint cabinets. That is the whole job.

Being narrow is the point. One crew, one shop, one finish system we know inside out. Here is where it works, and where it doesn't.

What we paint

  • Kitchen cabinetsSolid wood, MDF and previously painted doors, shaker or slab.
  • Bathroom vanitiesIncluding the toe kick and side panels.
  • Built-insBookcases, media walls, mudroom benches, window seats.
  • Interior trimBaseboards, door and window casings, interior doors.

What we don't

  • ThermofoilThe smooth vinyl wrap on many 1990s doors. It is glued over MDF and lets go with heat. Paint can't hold it down, so it would peel within a year.
  • Peeling laminateIf the plastic face is already lifting, paint only hides the problem for a while. Those doors need replacing.
  • Full roomsWalls and ceilings are a different trade. We are happy to give you the name of a house painter we trust.

Two places, one finish.

Spraying doors flat in a clean booth gives a smooth, factory-like face. The boxes can't travel, so we bring the care to them.
