One painter, one room at a time
I am Nina. I paint bedrooms, living rooms, hallways, ceilings and trim, and I work alone. The person who quotes your room is the person holding the roller.

What I paint
Inside your home, wall to wall
- Bedrooms
- Walls, ceiling and trim in one visit, so the room is back in use that night.
- Living and dining rooms
- Big walls rolled, edges cut in by hand so the line at the ceiling stays sharp.
- Hallways and stairwells
- Narrow, scuffed and awkward. I bring a tall ladder and the patience for it.
- Ceilings
- Flat white, two coats, with a stain-blocking primer first if there is an old water mark.
- Trim and doors
- Baseboards, casings and doors, brushed and lightly sanded between coats.
- Accent walls
- One strong colour on one wall. I paint a sample patch first, so you see it in your light.
- Rental turnovers
- One neutral colour, a flat price per unit, and no paint on the carpet.
What I do not do
Exteriors, wallpaper, kitchen cabinets and spray finishing. They need different tools and a different painter, so I will point you to someone local who does them well. If a ceiling stain keeps coming back, fix the leak first and call me after.
Room prices
A price per room, not per hour
Walls, two coats, low-odour paint from a good mid-range line, furniture moved and covered, small holes patched, and cleanup. Ceilings and trim are extra. Prices are in Canadian dollars.

- Weekends need a two-room minimum.
- Colour-house paint is charged at what I pay for it, with no mark-up.
- The quote is written after I see photos or visit, and it only changes if the job does.

What happens in your room

Furniture to the middle, everything covered
I move what moves to the centre, cover it and the floor, take off the switch plates and tape the edges. Anything heavy or fragile, you tell me and it stays put.

Small holes patched, then sanded
Nail holes, dings and hairline cracks get filler, a sand and a dab of primer so they do not show through. A bigger drywall repair I will flag before I start, not after.

Two coats of low-odour paint
Ceiling first, walls second, trim last. The paint is low-odour by default, so most rooms are fine to use that evening with a window open.

Cleanup, then a walk-through
Tape comes off while the paint is just set, the floor is swept and vacuumed, and the furniture goes back where it was. You get the leftover paint with the room and colour written on the lid.
